Fund Accounting & Fp&A - Private Credit

We are representing a $60b AUM alternative asset manager based in Downtown Chicago. They are seeking an experienced individual to join their fund accounting department. This role is a hybrid between fund accounting and FP&A. This role is a 3-2 hybrid and has a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:Manage and reconcile fund accounting activities, including daily, monthly, and quarterly calculations of net asset values (NAV), income, and expenses.Prepare quarterly and annual forecasts.Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and other performance metrics to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Prepare month-end reports utilizing SOX controls reporting.Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders (investor relations) to resolve any accounting discrepancies or inquiries.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.1-3 years of experience, specifically within public accounting.Experience within financial services or investment management is preferred.SEC experience is a plus.
