Fund Manager University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: 38026 Salary: $26.96 - $57.90 hourly Position Description: Serve as Fund Manager for 10-15 Principal Investigators (PIs) in the Department of Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences (EPSS). Responsible for pre-award, award set-up, expenditure control, fund status reporting and post-award administration for more than $7 million of extramural funds. Prepare monthly analyses of account activity, including prior periods and future projections, and take appropriate action to resolve any problems relating to all accounts. Assist PIs with preparation of proposals for extramural funding requests, and provide advice on agency guidelines. Interpret and explain University extramural accounting procedures and requirements to PIs and research staff. Analyze payroll expenditures and commitments. Provide backup support for BruinBuy and PCard purchasing activities and Express travel reimbursements. Enter academic accruals in UCPath and resolve discrepancies.
