About the RoleiCapital is seeking a talented and driven Fund Origination professional to support its growing alternative investments feeder fund business. This is a newly created role within the Client Success organization and will report into a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team. This position will focus on new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding, and fund lifecycle management. This role will be responsible to lead and help manage the onboarding and product lifecycle of various alternative investment vehicles across structures and asset classes prevalent in the market. These will primarily be products created by third party alternative asset managers that are looking to utilize the iCapital technology to facilitate the subscription and reporting processes for the wealth management channel. This team stands at the heart of iCapital's growth into new markets and fund structures.
ResponsibilitiesLead new feeder fund onboarding projects, working across the organization to ensure on-time and successful completion.Work with key clients, both asset managers and wealth managers, and their service providers, attorneys, fund administrators and transfer agents to communicate processes and requirements, recommending best practices and leading overall project management to launch their funds on the iCapital platform.Drive prioritization and support building procedures within the iCapital ecosystem related to adding new funds, product structures, expanding product distribution channels and lifecycle management.Represent the company as a subject matter expert on the platform and the products we support.Leverage experience to help shape iCapital's service offering across various fund structures.Prepare and present new funds to various decision-making groups.Assist in various ad hoc fund launch activities.Help drive the rollout of new platform functionality impacting the fund launch and lifecycle management process.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, business, or another related field5+ years of product structuring experience with exposure to fund administration, fund management or custodial relationshipsExperience in alternative investments with a focus in various fund structures is requiredPositive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environmentWillingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilitiesDetail-oriented, self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlinesAble to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignmentsStrong knowledge of Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skillsThe base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $185,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
