Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is looking to add a Game Day Operations Intern that will assist the Event Operations Coordinator and Manager in all aspects of the department during Spring Training, the Florida State League, and Youth Baseball Tournaments.
The department covers all aspects of game day and stadium operations at the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium complex.
Duties and Responsibilities - Spring Training, Florida State League & Youth Baseball Tournaments Support management with all aspects of stadium operations and procedures.
Assist in setting up and breaking down the facility for MLB and MiLB games.
Serve as an on-site lead for youth baseball tournaments.
Assist in the training and supervision of part-time stadium staff.
Help in maintaining the policies of the stadium including customer service and security.
Guide part-time game day staff in delivering excellent customer service.
Assist with team mascot appearances at the ballpark or in the community.
Ensure the stadium and complex is always "game-ready".
Assist with non-baseball events that take place at the complex as necessary.
Help distribute pocket schedules and promotional pieces.
Experience Required Strong customer service skills.
Must be willing to work both in a team setting as well as individually.
Ability to work in a high activity and heavily crowded environment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be willing to work long hours, early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Must pass a drug test and criminal background check. Salary: Florida State Minimum Wage
