This part-time position of Game Master & Host enables guests to enjoy their escape room

experience by providing clues/hints to help them solve puzzles and briefing customers on how to play the games.

Standard Job Responsibilities Perform activities that facilitate the customer service experience (meeting and greeting customers; customer check-in; pre-game service, game mastering; interacting with customers; post-game experience; etc)Perform general tasks around the venue to assist in its operationUpsell games, beverages, and merchandise to customersMaintain safety standardsClean area in and around venue; maintaining daily/weekly/monthly cleaning scheduleUse Escapology's M3 software to provide hints/clues to guests during game playCreate an upbeat, fast-paced, and fun atmosphere for guests and coworkersMix and serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic beveragesStay up to date on any/all relevant training informationComplete tasks assigned by Head Game Master (shift lead) and Management Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment with a moderate noise level.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to ten pounds.
The employee must have good close and distance vision and the ability to focus between the two.

Requirements Able to multi-task and manage high-pressure situations.Takes initiative and completes tasks that need doing without needing prompting.Demonstrate confidence when speaking to a group.Able to work within a team.Good oral & written communication skills.Excellent at customer relations.Organized in project management.Capable of utilizing common sense to effectively execute detailed yet straightforward written or verbal directives.Must have reliable transportation.Must be at least 18 years old.Must be flexible and adaptable to change.Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.Tip Certified (training provided if not).Employment subject to successfully completing a Background Check and/or CORI Screening. Escapology is a high-adrenaline escape game where players are locked inside a themed room and must complete their mission before time runs out.
During the 60-minute experience players are immersed into a real-life adventure where they must find hidden clues, crack codes, solve challenging puzzles, and escape!
Located in a prime location, players will be challenged in this new attraction by working together to find clues, solve puzzles, and open locks.
You have an hour to work through all of the challenges and unlock your final door to escape.
