Description The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Full-time Gastroenterologist for Mount Sinai Queens Hospital. While working in conjunction with Internists and specialists, as well as administrative staff members, the ideal candidates will give excellent care to a diverse community of patients that need treatment for a broad spectrum of Gastroenterology conditions and diseases, and will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for Gastroenterology, and be fully committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System.
The successful candidate for this position will be appointed as an Assistant Professor (or higher commensurate with experience) in the Department of Gastroenterology in the world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai's Department of Gastroenterology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care, embracing the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrative approach to patient care, research, and education. The chosen candidate must have excellent clinical skills and a passion for Gastroenterology. Our systemwide Gastroenterology division is integral to establishing practice standards, metrics, and protocols for Gastroenterology care quality across the Mount Sinai Health System.
The successful candidate has the option to teach Gastroenterology residents on electives from our ACGME-approved Gastroenterology residency programs, as well as medical students on electives from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
