General Counsel, Employee Benefits - Copy

You will be responsible for all aspects of supervising and coordinating the efforts of a legal team, including budget and legal practice area management, case assignment, and the hiring and professional development of staff. You will anticipate and mitigate potential legal problems within the Company, and develop strategies to avoid costly litigation and reduce potential areas of risk. You will advise the company and senior management on a broad range of provincial and federal regulatory and compliance matters, including identifying areas of risk and making suggestions for improvement.
