Job Description The Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking an academic hospitalist/internist to teach and practice Internal Medicine on our inpatient faculty teaching service and in our primary care clinics as well as participate in medical education oversight activities, hospital quality improvement initiatives, research collaborations, and/or other academic endeavors.
The Cedars-Sinai Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) is a vibrant and collaborative group of hospitalists and general internists whose primary mission is to teach internal medicine residents and students the care of general medical patients in the hospital and in the clinics through hands-on training and supervision. All the faculty hospitalists and general internists play a vital role in the mentorship and education of our housestaff in the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program as well as rotating medical students. Collectively, the faculty within the Division of GIM also devote substantial time to academic administration and physician leadership, curriculum development and implementation, medical informatics, hospital and clinic quality improvement initiatives, programs related to health equity/social determinants of health, grant-funded health services research, and advanced medical procedures, among others. Opportunities exist for professional advancement in all of these areas, with current opportunities in graduate medical education leadership and/or scholarship.

Our compensation philosophy: We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Pay Range: $299,500 - 453,825 total cash compensation
