General Manager (FT) - 5Church
K5 Hospitality is seeking a talented General Manager to join our award-winning restaurant group.
As a GM, you will lead and manage multi-faceted restaurant operations in partnership with the Head Chef to offer a world-class culinary experience and ensure concept vision and 5Church Restaurant standards are executed consistently.
Demonstrate that employees are the highest priority, maintain a positive work environment, and develop the next generation of restaurant leaders.
Take ownership of the multiple restaurants; ensure the restaurants operate efficiently and profitably.
The position reports to the Director of Operations.
The General Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to: Building a capable and confident team and developing them to manage a great restaurant.Oversee and ensure all company systems and policies are maintained.Responsible for all controllable costs including labor, food, beverage, and supplies.Uphold company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members.Maintain all labor laws and practices.In charge of restaurant financials and responsible for efficient numbers.Assist in the execution of forecasting and budgeting.Skills & Knowledge The position requires a minimum of 4+ years of restaurant management experience.Requires developed communication skills, both verbal and written.Most tasks are performed independently or in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader.Ability to maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.Extensive knowledge of upscale or fine dining service and sales skills.Ability to supervise, train, and motivate multiple levels of employees.
Ability to consistently and fairly evaluate other employees' performance.Extensive knowledge of the food industry, restaurants, and competitive markets.Extensive knowledge of revenue management.
