Position Overview: The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at a bustling fabrication and production facility, leading a dynamic team of 20+ professionals.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving production efficiency, ensuring quality control, and implementing cost-saving measures to foster business growth.
The role will report to the Founder, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all facility operations, including production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation.
Lead and mentor staff to maximize output, quality, and workplace satisfaction.
Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring high standards for all products and services.
Ensure consistent, timely delivery of customer orders.
Identify process improvements to enhance production efficiency and minimize costs.
Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and expectations.
Maintain and enforce safety protocols and industry standards within the facility.
Monitor KPIs, generate performance reports, and ensure financial targets are met.
Handle customer concerns, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
10+ years of experience in a print production AND fabrication environment, must be in a tight-knit team of 20-50 employees.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performance teams.
Expertise in production planning, inventory management, and cost control.
Proficient in handling CNC machines, digital presses, and related equipment.
Ability to foster a collaborative work environment and problem-solve effectively.
Familiarity with safety regulations, quality control, and process optimization.
Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP/MRP systems.
