We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to oversee our company's day-to-day operations.
This pivotal role ensures that all departments function seamlessly and deliver outstanding results.
The General Manager (GM) will work closely with the Managing Director (MD), steering the company in alignment with the MD's vision and strategic goals.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of Worldwide Zoo Consultants, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.Collaborate with department heads to set goals, monitor progress, and optimise performance.Work alongside the MD to implement the company's strategic vision and initiatives.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and resource allocation.Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise.Represent the company in high-level meetings, negotiations, and public events.QualificationsProven experience in a senior management role within the zoo, aquarium, animal-based facility industry or similar.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High level of motivation, efficiency, and independence.Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource management.Passion for animal care and conservation and efficient working.Application ProcessIf you are a motivated, hard-working, and goal-focused professional passionate about animal care, project development, and growth, we want to hear from you.
