As a GIS Engineer, you will work directly with the Director of Geospatial and interrogate and add complex geospatial datasets to the Blumen web platform to support the world's most active renewable energy project developers and EPCs.
ResponsibilitiesClean, standardize, explore, and catalogue public and proprietary datasets before they enter an automated ingestion pipeline.Incorporate vector, raster, and timeseries data.Qualifications1-3 years of experience writing scripts to ingest and analyze geospatial data.Experience with GIS data viewers like QGIS/ArcGIS.Demonstrated experience working with messy SQL querying, data standardization, and schema design.Great communicator and excited to work closely with customers in the energy industry.Preferred QualificationsPast experience with government data sources (BLM, EPA, USFS, DOE, NOAA, BOEM, etc.).Pay$100K-130K annual salary for FT, negotiable hourly rate for part-time.
