Geotechnical Project Manager

UES is looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join our Fort Worth team. This position entails the delivery of comprehensive geotechnical services through the coordination and execution of field explorations and laboratory testing, the analysis/evaluation of those findings, the preparation of geotechnical reports, and communication with UES clients. This position manages moderate to complex geotechnical projects by providing the technical expertise required to exceed client expectations. Experience with solar and renewable energy projects is highly desired.
\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform geotechnical analysis and study to assess construction site condition.Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively.Perform field investigations for construction projects.Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal, and report preparation.Execute smaller to complex projects.Coordinate required testing/sampling with drill crews and assist with field activities as necessaryInterpret field data and assign laboratory testingCommunicate results of field and laboratory testing, and geotechnical recommendations, to clientsPrepare geotechnical reportsAssist with field activities during construction (occasional travel to jobsites within Texas and surrounding states). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) ABET or an accredited four-year college or university in civil engineering or geology.Preferred experience in solar energy or renewable energy.Familiarity with modern office tools including the use of computer-based programs such as gINT, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel, LPILE, etc.Possession of a valid Texas driver license and a acceptable driving record.Engineering in Training (required)P.E registration (preferred)
