Job Description Optician at Classic Vision Care
Locations: Marietta and Kennesaw, Georgia

What We Offer Competitive Pay: $16 - $30+/hour (based on experience) Benefits Package: 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Healthcare reimbursement Clear career advancement paths Employee discounts on eyewear and services Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuous learning and development Positive Work Environment: A team that values collaboration and excellence Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Assist patients with frame and lens selection Sell frames, lenses, contact lenses, and other products and services Provide adjustments and repairs of eyewear Handle walk-ins and deliver exceptional service Inventory Management: Manage frame displays and merchandising Ensure accurate inventory records Handle and keep track of returns and credits with labs and vendors Vendor Relations: Meet with vendors to purchase ophthalmic frames, sunglasses, and supplies Develop vendor relationships and coordinate dispensary promotions and activities Administrative Tasks: Place follow-up calls one week after dispensing eyewear Maintain numbers and monitor cost of goods Develop and review pricing strategies Keep track of eyewear jobs regarding time, length, and accuracy Check in jobs and notify patients promptly Dispensary Maintenance: Maintain the general appearance of the dispensary and lab Clinical Support: Perform pre-testing of patients Take retinal photographs Administer visual field tests Teach insertion and removal techniques to new contact lens patients Team Support: Answer phones and schedule patient appointments Support and live our company values daily Proactively learn other roles to support the team Flexibility to work between our Marietta and Kennesaw locations Qualifications Experience: Previous experience as an optician or in optical sales is preferred Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent customer service and sales skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Requirements: Reliable transportation to commute between both locations Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset Certification: ABO (American Board of Opticianry) certification is a plus but not required Growth Opportunity: Ability to follow the ramp plan and certify on required tasks to increase pay Why Join Classic Vision Care?
