Role Definition: Support global accounting teams with process improvements and Oracle EPM business user support across various accounting areas. Responsibilities: Provide accounting business user support for Oracle EPM modules including testing, training and business user support. Assist with implementing continuous process improvement efforts across accounting, financial reporting and management reporting processes. Coordinate with accounting business users to define and document business user requirements for system enhancement requests and perform related testing. Assist with providing system and process training to accounting and finance teams. Degree Requirement: Bachelors degree in Accounting, finance, business technology or related field. Masters Degree and/or professional accounting certification a plus. Skills Required: Business Process Design: Basic knowledge of business process design; ability to develop appropriate techniques to re-examine key processes and focus on optimizing organizational performance. Operational Functions: Working knowledge of accounting processes and the ability to communicate with accounting teams to understand business user requirements and opportunities for process improvement. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Basic knowledge of the decision-making process and ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Flexibility and Adaptability: Working knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change. Relationship Management: Basic knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with business partners and team members. Managing Change: Basic understanding of the necessity to adapt self and team to evolving business needs. Consideration for Top Candidates: Oracle EPM and/or Oracle EBS GL experience. 2+ years Experience with legal entity accounting and/or financial reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of chart of accounts and financial statement mapping methodologies. Strong interest in process improvement and learning new technology. Additional Information: This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a 3 day per week in office requirement.
