Job purpose: The role of Global Head of Domain will consult and partner with the Global IT Delivery Director and the rest of the Global IT leadership Team to deliver the initiatives and operations of a specific domain, or across a number of grouped domains (functions/product areas) across City Electrical Factors (CEF) and City Electric Supply (CES).
Leading with a consultative approach, this role will contribute at both hands-on and a strategic level to ensure that the business outcomes are realised, and the IT strategy is implemented.
In conjunction with the Global IT Delivery Director, Business Domain Experts and the IT Leadership Team, this role will work to deliver a comprehensive set of domain services and a portfolio of transformative initiatives that will ensure that our business is at the forefront of the marketplace offering greater flexibility and agility to the business.
\n Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the design, implementation, continuous evolution and ongoing management of our IT application within the domain.Direct the deployment, integration between domains, and support critical applications, improving efficiency and enhancing user experience.Oversee the successful execution of projects including planning, scheduling, risk management and quality controlEnsure applications have audit, tax and legal compliance at a regional levelLead the delivery of initiatives (SaaS, hybrid, bespoke software) for a specified domain(s), ensuring that the scope, timeline, budget and business benefits (ROI) are achieved.Recruit, develop, coach and lead the domain team (working with the Practice Leads to ensure consistency and appropriate skill level) with the domain leadership fostering collaboration with other domains outside of your scope of responsibility. Essential Experience:Extensive experience in managing a Global Finance SystemAble to operate at a senior level in a finance based roleProven expertise in streamlined financial processes at scale and build strong cross-functional partnerships.Strong knowledge on finance processes and accounting treatmentIndustry specific business acumen and proven ability to analyse and develop insights that drive change and specific outcomes.Exceptional leadership capability. Able to create and lead inclusive teams across the entire landscape of IT and business to collaborate and work together to achieve results in a matrix organisation.Strong track record in leading large-scale business driven IT programmes of work successfully achieving the desired benefits and outcomes. Beneficial Experience:Experience of working in a wholesale, distribution and manufacturing environment ideally within the Electrical Products Industry.Experience working in a global role with multiple geographies and cultures.Proven expertise in leading RFP process, vendor selection and managementAccountancy qualification, i.e. ACA, ACCCA or CPA
