Position Overview: The Global Head of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and managing the global sales team.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in international sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives and growth targets. Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments. Create and implement sales plans and budgets. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global sales team. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers. Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and monitor performance against targets. Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Analyze and leverage data to make informed sales decisions. Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies as needed. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive overall company strategy and growth. Sales Operations and Process Improvement: Optimize sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices in sales management, reporting, and performance measurement. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role. Proven success in leading global sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
