As Marqeta's Global Network Partnerships Manager, you will lead and manage key relationships with Marqeta's card network partners and continually seek new ways to grow revenue with these partners. You will build trustworthy relationships through your day-to-day interactions, complex problem-solving and contracting work, always ensuring Marqeta is held in the highest regard. The broader company will consider you the subject matter expert on your network partners.
You will partner closely with teammates and internal counterparts in the Revenue, Legal and Operations organizations to qualify new and unique customer programs for all network partners. You will be instrumental in building network-related resource materials for the Strategic Partnerships, Revenue and Solutions teams.

What You'll Do Responsible for leading and managing 2-3 card network partner relationships, plus Marqeta's fee-free ATM partner relationships Serve as a trusted and valued ambassador of Marqeta, ensuring partners hold Marqeta in high regard and creating the condition for partners to drive business to Marqeta Meet with partners regularly to keep initiatives running smoothly and ensure contract terms are upheld and updated as necessary As the Marqeta liaison and SME for these partnerships, work with internal teams (Network Operations, Product, Legal, Revenue) to ensure close alignment on any evolving changes or expectations that could cause friction for our customer base. Learn full economics for your partners; fees & interchange Partner with the Data team to create dashboards for your network partners' performance Represent the Network Partnerships team by regularly engaging with Marqeta's Solutions team to review all new customer use cases, across all networks, in order to qualify and approve within network rules Capture and document network rules related to Marqeta's use cases. Partner with teammates to build and contribute to a resource repository accessible by the broader organization for self-serve Participate in and/or lead network-related trainings for the broader Marqeta organization Create presentations, economic models, visual displays, various communications to support our team's executive management reporting and for external partner meetings Use your expertise in payments to ensure Marqeta is staying ahead of the curve in terms of key industry trends, our key partners' initiatives and how together we can further innovate, and win, in the modern card issuing space. What We're Looking For A minimum of 8 years of related work experience in payments, preferably at a Payment Network processor or financial institution. To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location. Compensation is aligned according to three tiers within the United States:
National: A baseline tier that applies to most of the geographic territory of the United States. Premium: Slightly elevated from the National tier, and oriented toward a narrower set of higher cost-of-living areas, such as Los Angeles CA and Seattle WA Premium Plus: A tier for the most expensive working areas, like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City. When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position is:
National: $101,625 - $135,500 Premium: $114,375 - $152,500 Premium Plus: $127,050 - $169,400 We also believe in recognizing the contributions of our people. That's why we award annual bonuses to eligible employees, rewarding both individual performance and the success of the entire company.
