Responsibilities
• Consult on maintenance procedures and standards• Offer technical support for maintenance and machine shop operations• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment• Introduce and implement new repair methods• Design engineering packages as needed• Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers• Attend vendor and customer exchange meetings• Participate in standards value engineering efforts
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the mechanical field• Strong background in investigating turbine malfunctions and managing outages• Knowledge of turbine component repair processes and quality control• Experience in mechanical design, troubleshooting, and major repair of rotating equipment• Experience working with OEM facilities like GE, Siemens, MHI, and BH• Proficiency in English reading and writing
