Responsibilities
• Lead the execution of capital projects• Manage the team responsible for project execution• Provide guidance and directives to ensure successful project completion• Provide technical and project management oversight throughout the project lifecycle• Resolve project issues• Implement safety measures• Implement company initiatives within projects and business processes• Prepare and review project performance reports• Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing, or costs• Allocate appropriate manpower to the project• Ensure employees are assigned appropriate training and development paths• Oversee and review correspondence related to projects• Maintain job records for assigned projects• Negotiate agreements and change orders with contractors• Guide team members in applying company standards• Take overall responsibility for project development• Review project schedule and monitor progress• Attend project meetings• Uphold engineering ethics and maintain professional conduct
Requirements
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering• Obtain a PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification• Fifteen years of project management experience in refining and petrochemical industries• Seven years of experience as a Sr. PE or project manager in design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and operation• Expertise in Engineering Design & Construction phases and knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles• Master international procedures of Projects Phases, Engineering Phases, Bidding procedures, Procurement Processes, Construction Requirements, and Best Practices• Understand contract documents and project execution plans• Mastery understanding of scheduling principles and recovery methods• Expertise in cashflow distribution in projects, resource planning and distribution, and crisis management• Dynamic attitude towards project improvements and cost savings• Flexible to work in multinational teams and mobilize to different locations
