Micron Technology Inc. is looking for a Global Quality Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Technician L1 to perform ESD and Latch Up testing for new product characterizations, device qualifications and special work requests. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to complete vital testing and may be asked to perform customer specific, or engineering requests as needed. You will also be required to document results and connect with the appropriate parties.

Responsibilities and Tasks
We follow all safety procedures and area work rules!
When required, will support engineer/manager request(s)
We support equipment set-up, and MK2 and Orion test program set-up.

Perform Testing
Identify and obtain parts, test setup specifications, and test flows.
Perform product tracking using Micron specific software systems.
Perform and verify tester hardware changeovers and test setup.
Perform testing to collect pre read, test execution and post read data points.
Complete sophisticated test flows on multiple testers simultaneously and verify results.
Confirm validation of any failed part.
Evaluate hardware or tester correlation.
Isolate failing test and stress combinations with engineering.

Generate Test Finding Reports and Qualification Documentation
Customize data sheet for manual data logging.
Create pin association tables for result documentation.
Interpret, review, and compile test results.
Submit for engineering review and approval.
Distribute test reports and archive report in online repository.

Experience:
Two-year industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; or equivalent military training and experience

Desired 2 years of shown experience in any of the following:Semiconductor Manufacturing or Test
Previous ESD and/or Latch-up experience
Familiarity with internal Micron systems

Qualifications:
Will work with minimal supervision.
Good multitasking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Quality mentality
Works well independently and with small team
Self-motivated

Shift:
1st Shift M-F for initial 3-month training; then 2nd shift (3pm to 5pm start)
Some flexibility in setting of final shift. Possibilities may include:10-hour shifts, Tues-Fri or Wed-Sat
12-hour shifts, Thurs-Sat, alternating Wed
12-hour shifts, Wed-Fri, alternating Sat
