JobSummary SummaryDescription The Global GeneralRecruiting Lead at Mercy Ships oversees recruitment efforts for volunteer rolesacross the organization. This role involves creating and executing strategicrecruitment plans, coordinating with regional teams, and aligning staffingstrategies with the organization's needs. The Lead is responsible for developingglobal recruitment strategies to ensure a consistent and effective approach toattracting top talent globally.

Act as the main liaison for regional recruitment teams, ensuringthat recruitment efforts are aligned and consistent across differentregions. Focus on managing the recruitment process for General professionalsin roles outside the Programmatic, Surgical/Ward, and Technical Sectorsfor positions onboard Mercy Ships. Build and maintain relationships with professional organizations andnetworks to create a pipeline of qualified candidates.  Communicate staffing needs and requirements from thecentralized staffing department to the regional recruitment teams. Work with Staffing Specialists and Workforce Planning Managers tounderstand and communicate staffing requirements effectively. Conduct bi-weekly meetings with all regional offices to discussrecruitment strategies, address challenges, and provide updates. Make sure regional offices have current information on role-specificrequirements, qualification standards, and availability dates for serviceonboard Mercy Ships. Partner with regional offices to craft and execute recruitmentstrategies for General positions that align with global goals and addressboth current and future staffing requirements. Support the creation and implementation of global recruitmentcampaigns and initiatives. Contribute to the development of strategies for expandingrecruitment efforts in regional offices to ensure comprehensive coverageof talent needs. Identify and integrate best practices in global recruitment toenhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assist in training new recruiters within regional offices, focusingon skills and processes. Provide continuous learning opportunities to elevate the skills andcapabilities of recruitment teams. Establish and review pre-vetting checklists to ensure thorough andeffective candidate assessment. Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectivenessof recruitment strategies and make data-driven adjustments. Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities,challenges, and successes to senior leadership. Monitor and report on global recruitment trends and marketconditions. Collaborate with Workforce Planning Managers to align recruitmentefforts with staffing plans. Partner with Volunteer Experience to develop and implementstrategies to enhance candidate engagement and satisfaction. Other duties as assigned. TheIdeal Candidate Will Demonstrate: Proven experience inmanaging global recruitment efforts and developing strategic recruitmentplans. Strong understandingof General staffing requirements and industry standards. Excellentcommunication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to workcollaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment. Proficiency in usingrecruitment software and tools. Strong analyticalskills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Demonstrated abilityto manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  Supportive ofMercy Ships mission and vision and committed to its core values. Education And Experience Therequirements listed below are representative of the education and/or experiencerequired.
Bachelor'sdegree in human resources, Business, Marketing, a related field isrequired, or a mix of education and relevant job experience. Minimum of 5years of experience in recruitment is preferred, but not required.
