Who we are:Data Partnerships is the team that identifies, negotiates with, and manages the providers of data that power many of the Trade Desk's products (think audiences, measurement, identity and more). We pride ourselves on maintaining a robust and vibrant marketplace of data to give our clients a breadth of choice in how they operate on the platform. With over 200 distinct partner relationships we have a lot of logistics to manage, performance to monitor, and reports to derive and deliver – all in the spirit of maintaining data marketplace vibrancy through growth.
What you'll do:Lead the Audience Data Partnerships team; identify, negotiate, contract, integrate, manage, optimize, and rationalize data partners to support advertiser's needs on the platformPartner with Product and Commercial teams to develop a strategic roadmap to drive increased usage of Audience data productsMaintain regular communications and checkpoints with partners to report on performance, innovation and future opportunities that leverages their data to influence advertiser's campaignsWork with commercial teams to evangelize, educate and grow the use of partner offeringsFacilitate communication internally and externally related to partnerships (demands, strategies, roadmaps, operational requirements, etc.)Represent The Trade Desk's Audience strategy and business by speaking at industry events, participating on panels and drafting original content for publicationManage, develop and grow a team of direct and indirect reportsWho you are:10+ years of experience in partnership development and management with an emphasis on data used for targetingA well-respected thought leader within the industry, able to command the stage at industry events and author original content for relevant publicationsAdept at both developing strategies and operating day-to-day within cross-functional teamsManage initiatives in complex matrixed environments and make actionable decisions in the absence of perfect informationProven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that requires context switching several times in a day as you cover multiple dimensions within the targeting businessExperience with strategic partner management inclusive of vendor negotiationExhibit high emotional intelligence and integrity and build deep consultative partnerships with your business stakeholdersInfluence individuals at the executive level and drive strategic business transformationsTrack record of helping direct reports grow their capabilities, responsibilities and careers
