Horseshoe Bay Resort is looking for a Golf Academy Assistant to assist the Director of Instruction in the operation of the Golf Academy, which will include program development, booking appointments, assisting in running events and clinics, and teaching lessons on an individual and group basis. Will provide high-end service to Golf Academy customers.

General Duties: Assist with the creation of new golf development programs and routinely evaluate existing programs.Assist with booking, canceling, and managing appointments.Review BEOs for resort programmed events.Operate POS system, learn and understand teaching technology that supports golf instruction.Perform range maintenance including presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory over the course of the day.Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.Assist in the setup and execution of special events.Assist with the overall upkeep of the training facility and surrounding outdoor areas.Maintain a neat, clean and orderly workspace.Assist in educating players regarding Top tracer, clinic schedule, and lesson opportunities.Continually assist with group clinics for the purpose of being ready to substitute.Assist members and resort guests with club repair.Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.Attend staff meetings.Compensation: Base pay = $15.00 per hour10% of Golf Schools and/or Clinics as an assistant80% of one-on-one and group lessonsGeneral Qualifications: Graduate of or currently attending High School or up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Valid and current State of Texas drivers license.Actively pursuing PGA "Class A" certification.Certified in club repair.Ability to read and speak EnglishPhysical & Mental Requirements: Frequently stands, walks, uses hands to finger, feel or handle.Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
