Overview:Join Next Level Staffing for the opportunity to work at a Catholic Health facility on Long Island.The Community Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control.Responsibilities include up to 5 patients mainly in Western Suffolk.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures.* *3 to 6 month Assignments** *Competitive salary offered** *4 to 5 days a week (based on 8 or 10 hour days)** Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license* Basic Life Support Certification* Current, valid NY State driver's license and own transportation.* Prior experience in home care, hospice, oncology and/or Palliative Care preferred* 1 Year Med/Surg experience required and acute care backgroundJob Types: Full-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekMedical Specialty:* Hospice & Palliative Medicine* Medical-Surgical* OncologyLicense/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* RN License (Required)Ability to Commute:* Farmingdale, NY 11735 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Farmingdale, NY 11735: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
