We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Google Tag Manager (GTM) Expert to join our team. This role involves reviewing and optimizing our existing GTM setup, fixing event issues, and creating custom events for accurate tracking across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing GTM for Shopify websites and expertise in configuring tags, triggers, and variables for platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and other tracking tools.

Responsibilities:
??Audit and troubleshoot the current GTM setup to identify and resolve any issues with event tracking.
??Set up and optimize events to ensure proper data collection and reporting for Facebook Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and other marketing and analytics tools.
??Develop and implement custom events and parameters to meet specific tracking requirements.
??Ensure all events are configured accurately for our Shopify website, including ecommerce-specific tracking.
??Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to align tracking setups with business objectives.
??Maintain detailed documentation of GTM configurations, events, and any changes made.
??Test, debug, and validate tag performance to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
??Stay up-to-date with the latest GTM and Shopify tracking capabilities, as well as evolving advertising and analytics platform requirements.
Qualifications:
??Preferably with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related fields.
?? 2-3 years of proven experience as a Google Tag Manager expert, particularly with Shopify websites.
?? Hands-on experience setting up and managing GTM events for Facebook Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and other analytics tools.
?? Strong understanding of tag management, triggers, variables, and data layer concepts.
?? Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for creating custom GTM tags.
??Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid code and the Shopify data layer.
Bonus Points if you have:
??Experience in ecommerce tracking, including enhanced ecommerce setups in GA4.
??Knowledge of conversion tracking for various advertising platforms.
??Certifications in Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager.
