Position Description: LCG is seeking a Governance & Innovation Analyst who is integral to driving strategic innovation at the client. This role focuses on governance, strategic planning, and process improvements to foster a culture of innovation aligned with client's mission. The analyst will leverage industry trends, emerging technologies, and data-driven insights to create scalable, inclusive, and ethical solutions. This position requires an innovation mindset, technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges. Key responsibilities include roadmap development, governance framework management, and support for emerging technology pilots.

Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the design and refinement of governance frameworks that support scalable innovation aligned with FNS's objectives, ensuring that governance structures facilitate creative thinking and support the organization's long-term goals. Develop and implement an Innovation Charter that fosters a culture encouraging innovative thinking, while overseeing the intake and evaluation of new ideas through data-driven approaches and emerging technology insights. Engage internal and external stakeholders through facilitated sessions, using the Design Intelligence framework to ensure that solutions are both mission-critical and technically feasible, while promoting inclusive and ethical decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain a multi-year Innovation Strategic Roadmap, integrating human-centered design principles and the latest technological advancements such as AI/ML and cloud computing, ensuring alignment with client's broader modernization plans. Conduct ongoing market research and analysis of industry trends to continuously prioritize and update innovation initiatives, while ensuring that the roadmap is adaptable to changes in the technological landscape and client objectives. Manage innovation projects from ideation through execution, ensuring they align with FNS's mission, using agile methodologies to guide the teams through changing requirements and stakeholder needs. Provide clear communication and documentation to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of projects, ensuring performance metrics are tracked and reported in alignment with client's strategic goals. Identify, design, and pilot new initiatives that focus on critical areas such as accessibility, automation, and data integration, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to ensure meaningful, scalable impact. Oversee the transition of successful pilots to federal staff, ensuring that governance and documentation support scalability and continued success, while focusing on both qualitative and quantitative evaluation of pilot outcomes. Collaborate with Innovation Hub, FNS IT, and program areas to establish a Customer Success Team that ensures stakeholder needs are met and that programs are adopted and scaled successfully. Develop sustainable operational blueprints for Innovation Hub, supporting long-term program success and alignment with broader FNS goals, while providing cross-training and knowledge transfer to federal staff to ensure seamless adoption of new technologies and processes. Organize and execute innovation events, such as Innovate-a-thons, Demo Days, and Innovation Days, to promote collaboration and forward-thinking across the organization, ensuring that these initiatives challenge traditional approaches. Facilitate ideation sessions and workshops to inspire creativity and innovation across FNS, ensuring that the resulting initiatives reflect diverse perspectives and lead to meaningful digital transformation. Support broader stakeholder engagement through well-coordinated communication plans, ensuring ongoing participation in innovation efforts, and maintain alignment with ethical standards and inclusivity throughout all innovation processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in innovation management, governance, or project management. Expertise in managing complex technical and business initiatives, governance, roadmap development, and stakeholder engagement. Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD), agile methodologies, and emerging technologies (AI, ML, Cloud Platforms). Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies, and governance frameworks. Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead stakeholder engagement in innovation. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in dynamic environments. Compensation and Benefits: The projected compensation range for this position is $127,121 to $183,131 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary is $146,700. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
