Government Contracts And Regulations Attorney

Our client is seeking an Attorney with over 5 years of experience to join their Government Contracts and Regulation business unit. Candidates based in Washington D.C. are preferred. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency supplements.Experience advising clients on FAR compliance and certification requirements.Experience prosecuting and defending bid protests at the GAO and Court of Federal Claims.Experience with other government contracts litigation and investigations, including contract claims, OIG investigations, whistleblower claims, false claims, and prime-subcontractor disputes.Assisting clients in obtaining Federal Government prime contracts.Negotiating and preparing subcontracts, teaming agreements, and joint ventures.Familiarity with small and disadvantaged business programs and processes.Representing clients in mergers and acquisitions involving government contracts.Advising public and non-profit clients on federal financial assistance awards.Candidates with a portable business or a proven track record of client acquisition are preferred.
