The Analyst will support the Managing Directors in the insurance regulatory team with policy analysis and engagement.
In collaboration with the Managing Directors, the Analyst will be responsible for tracking and helping to analyze individual transactions for insurance regulatory issues.
The Analyst will monitor all relevant insurance regulatory developments for developments affecting such investments and will represent Blackstone before internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities: Engage with internal deal teams and other stakeholders to analyze insurance regulatory issues and assist in identifying changes necessary to respond to insurance regulatory parameters; Ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of all regulatory changes affecting insurance company investments originated by Blackstone; and Assist in the development of efficient internal processes to facilitate insurance regulatory review of transactions.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with structured securities and/or insurance regulation Strong personal and professional integrity and highly motivated Strong attention to detail Proactivity and resourcefulness; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results A track record in successful relationship-building with internal and external audiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical information into clear messages that resonate with internal stakeholders Ability to be credible and persuasive when working with internal and external stakeholders Resilience and diplomacy; the ability to manage tensions to achieve outcomes that work for all parties The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.

Expected annual base salary range:
$75,000 - $110,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
