The Opportunity Awaits:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Time and Labor Accountant to play a pivotal role in our operations. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this position will oversee the Time and Labor Associates, ensuring the smooth execution of labor processing operations while upholding our policies and regulations.
Your Responsibilities:
Guide Time and Labor Associates through complex support scenarios
Manage the review and posting of labor distribution journals, including adjustments and corrections
Conduct reconciliations of accrued wages and payroll liabilities
Assist in audit preparations and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations
Facilitate the accuracy of timesheets and payroll journal entries
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate financial representation
Develop and maintain procedural documentation and training materials
Handle personnel record updates and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for our timekeeping systems
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Strong analytical skills for strategic data interpretation
Effective communication across various mediums
Ability to collaborate with a geographically dispersed team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of relevant experience in a government contracting setting
Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint and Time & Labor modules
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to secure a security clearance
