ResponsibilitiesProvides technical and design services in support of power distribution, lighting, equipment layouts, grounding, lightning protection, and electrical system topology for design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team.Conducts technical evaluations of electrical equipment/systems and prepares design calculations and assessments.Prepares design computations and assessments to validate design decisions.Produces design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.Completes design tasks with consideration to project budgets and deadlines.Communicates and coordinates technical evaluations, project reports, and correspondence with the project team to complete work efficiently.Stays current with Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations.Participates in project meetings, both internal and client-facing, and on-site evaluations of building conditions.Coordinates with contractor teams and reviews equipment and material submittals during construction to ensure the constructed building complies with design documents.QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution - Power Distribution focus preferred.Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills.Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from Project Manager and coordinate efforts with design team.Strong writing and verbal skills.Able to complete work consistently, with flexibility to accommodate varying project demands.Has completed or is planning to complete the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.Base Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
