The Neuroscience Critical Care Track offers a unique opportunity for nurses to advance through the model of care for the complex neurosurgical and neurointerventional patient population in the UPMC Harrisburg Neuroscience Unit. As part of the nursing team at this four-time Magnet designated hospital, you will gain experience, skills, and advanced knowledge creating a full foundation to care for the adult patient requiring neurovascular, neurosurgical, and pharmaco-medical management. At around 1 year, interested candidates in good standing will have the opportunity to build on this foundation and advance to caring for the neuro- intermediate and critical care patient population. The opportunity to shadow and receive advanced education will be provided. What can you Expect as a Professional Staff Nurse?
