Grant Accountant - Hybrid Role CFS of New York is working with a high-performing charter school organization that educates over 7,000 students About the Company & Opportunity Hybrid position in office Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, remote additional days Located in Upper Manhattan near many forms of public transportation including 1-6 trains, metro north and M bus lines Direct exposure to upper management, friendly and helpful team Gain valuable accounting experience while working for a great mission! Working with the New York State regarding grant application process and providing specific documentation as requested Conducting journal entries for the grants received by federal and state government Communicating with Principals from charter schools regarding grant requirements for application Understanding the timing and deadlines and obtaining invoices to support payments Experience Preferred: 2+ years of Grants Accounting experience Non Profit / Education background is a plus Bachelors degree preferred Sage Intacct is a plus #INAUG2023
