Grants Administrator - Seattle, WA ** We are seeking an experienced Grants Administrator to work closely with Principal Investigators (PIs) in managing all aspects of grants, from pre-award to post-award. This key role will oversee the submission, compliance, reporting, and relationship management for a portfolio of grants, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and funder requirements.
Key * Grant Application and Proposal * Research and identify new funding opportunities.Coordinate and prepare grant proposals, working with program and finance teams to develop budgets.Ensure all submissions align with organizational goals and funder expectations.Grant Management and * Support the administration of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.Maintain organized, accurate records of all grant activities.Monitor expenditures, ensuring they align with grant agreements.Reporting and * Prepare and submit financial and programmatic reports.Collaborate with program staff for updates on grant-funded projects.Act as the main point of contact for funders and internal teams on grant-related matters.Financial * Work with the finance team to track and manage grant budgets.Ensure proper fund allocation and assist with audits and financial reviews.Training and Capacity * Provide training on grant management and compliance.Develop and implement best practices for effective grant administration. What We're Looking * * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or equivalent experience.Minimum two years of experience in grants administration, research, or a related field.Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification is a plus.Proven experience managing federal, state, and private foundation grants.Strong knowledge of grant proposal development, budgeting, and reporting processes.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in grant management software and financial systems (e.g., ASSIST, Grants.gov, Sage Intacct).Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
