Position Overview:
The Grants Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting our mission by assisting in proposal development and grant management. This includes organizing proposal materials, completing forms, maintaining grant files, and supporting grant tracking efforts.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
1+ year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to conduct research and organize materials effectively
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Previous experience in renewable energy or energy efficiency preferred
Experience with proposal development or fundraising is a plus
Previous administrative experience with file and database management
Familiarity with nonprofit organizations
Experience working in a remote team environment
Familiarity with Asana, Grants.gov, DOE Exchange, Salesforce, and SharePoint
Location: Remote within the United States
Reports to: Grants Manager
Skill Level: Intermediate
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Areas of Expertise: Proposal Coordination
Compensation: $20 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain grant portals such as grants.gov and DOE Exchanges
Assist in proposal development by reviewing and completing grant forms
Update and maintain proposal checklists
Develop proposal templates
Organize and ensure accuracy of Grants Teams SharePoint and Teams files
Assist in tracking proposals through Salesforce data entry
Support Proposal Manager in proposal submissions, including assembling and mailing proposals
Assist in the development of case studies, blog posts, newsletter articles, and presentation summaries
