Responsibilities:
Collaborates with analysts to understand requirements and enhances analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions Provides graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products, including developing illustrations, editing existing images, managing fonts, and utilizing advanced pre-publication techniques Uses government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content Integrates graphics with text, audio, and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products Produces dynamic content in accordance with IC published standards (e.g., D3 Style Guide), including podcasts or audio segments Provides user experience/user interface expertise for the development of interactive graphics and web products
Qualifications:
Must have a current Top Secret security clearance with a CI PolygraphAt least three years of experience in graphic design with current experience within the last two yearsBachelors degree in a related area or high school diploma with an additional 4 years of experience for a total of 7 years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degreeProven expertise in using professional graphic design software, including but not limited to:Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Flash)Apple Final Cut Pro XApple Mac hardware platformsMap PublisherMicrosoft 365Any other specified interactive graphics tools, languages, or enablersFamiliarity with and the ability to implement IC (Intelligence Community) and DoD (Department of Defense) classification standards and proceduresStrong capability to articulate complex topics clearly and succinctly, both in written and spoken form, with excellent grammarProven skill in identifying subtle differences and resolving inconsistent information FedWriters is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.

Pay Range (Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors):
