Newsweek reaches 100 million people each month with thought-provoking news, opinion, images, graphics, and video delivered across a dozen print and digital platforms. Headquartered in New York City, Newsweek also publishes international editions in EMEA and Asia.  We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team, focusing on designing high-impact RFP response decks and other sales materials that position Newsweek as the best platform for brands to invest their advertising dollars. This role is critical in driving new business by creating visually compelling pre-sale materials that help win campaigns with clients.

Additionally, you'll support the team with post-sale campaign recaps, showcasing the success of executed campaigns through polished and professional designs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, self-sufficient designer who can manage multiple projects independently, delivering exceptional quality under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities: Design compelling and visually engaging RFP response decks that effectively communicate Newsweek's value proposition and position the platform as the top choice for brand advertising. Create pre-sale materials, including pitch decks and one-sheets, to support the sales team in winning new business opportunities. Develop post-sale campaign recap materials that showcase performance metrics, insights, and ROI to highlight the success of executed campaigns. Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and editorial teams to translate complex ideas into clear, visually appealing designs tailored to client needs. Ensure all materials adhere to Newsweek's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent, professional look and feel. Stay informed about advertising and design trends to continually enhance the quality of materials and ensure they stand out in competitive pitches. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality work that drives business results. Qualifications: Experience: 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably with a mix of agency and in-house roles. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including branding, digital campaigns, and print projects. Skills: Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma or other design tools. Strengths: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently without requiring constant oversight. Bonus: Experience in motion graphics or video editing. This role will be an hourly rate between $50.00-$75.00/hr for 20 hours maximum per week
