The Graphic Designer creates labels for product packaging. As a graphic designer, you may work independently or with a team to design nutraceutical labels for a variety of clients. To develop a label, you research market trends, ensure that the label meets quality and regulation standards, create a variety of design concepts with graphic design programs, and present the designs to the Account Management Team. Once a design is approved, you send the design into production.
Responsibilities: Design and create label proofs based on client and internal requirements Analyzes and constructs label design per formula and client specifications Manage design revisions and approval of artwork and information accuracy Keep up with current trends in marketing, design, and applicable design technology Create visually appealing advertising & marketing material to promote the company brand and company products. Communicate closely with clients and Key Account Managers to finalize label designs and confirm label information. Collaborating with our Compliance department to ensure label designs are compliant with all applicable government requirements. Organize and be responsible for your projects Other duties as assigned Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements: Proven graphic designing experience, Printing Press experience a plus Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop) A keen eye for aesthetics and details Excellent communication skills Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus Job Type: Part-time
