Full Time / 10 months
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Creates and designs lesson plans, instruction, and assessments aligned to Indiana Academic StandardsUses content material appropriate to students, content area, and academic standardsUses resource materials, procedures, and models related to the lessonPlans instruction and activities that address identified objectivesRelates and or integrates materials to other disciplinesProvides opportunities for students to practice concept skillsUtilizes a variety of techniques and methods to provide instruction at higher levels of thinkingAdheres to Indiana Department of Education and District policies, rules, and regulationsPrepares instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards, maintains equipment, supplies, and other resources and maintains inventory records in accordance with district policies and proceduresWorks with community employers to promote and advance technical skillsMaintains complete and accurate student academic, attendance, and disciplinary recordsDemonstrate techniques to students as a group and one - on one, helping them to complete lessons, assignments, projects, activities, and assessments.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The teacher must hold a valid Indiana teaching certificate or Workplace Specialist License .
Emergency permits/Substitute licenses will not be accepted.Strong writing, literacy, and communication skills; use effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiencesMust be proficient with technology (i.e.
email, Google Suites, grading software, instructional platforms, etc.
)Knowledge of Adobe programs (i.e.
Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design)
