As a Food Storekeeper in the warehouse of LSG Sky Chefs MSP, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, stocking supplies, and ensuring the efficient flow of food products within the facility.
Your duties will involve scanning inventory, utilizing pallet jacks, unboxing shipments, and working in environments such as coolers.
Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting will contribute to the success of our catering operations.
Responsibilities: Scan incoming shipments of food products and accurately record inventory levels in the designated system.Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as necessary to prevent shortages.Organize and stock shelves, ensuring that items are stored in accordance with safety and quality standards.Rotate stock to maintain product freshness and follow FIFO (first in, first out) principles.Assist in unboxing and handling shipments of food products, ensuring proper handling and storage.Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to transport and move materials.Assist in loading and unloading trucks, following proper procedures to prevent damage to goods.Use appropriate lifting techniques and equipment to handle heavy or bulky items as needed.Work in environments such as coolers, ensuring compliance with temperature control requirements.Handle food products with care to preserve quality and prevent contamination.
