The Olympic Club, a premier athletic and country club in San Francisco, is seeking a detail oriented, self motivated Groundskeeper to maintain our world renowned golf courses!
This is a full-time, Local 1877 Union non-exempt position.
Reports to the Golf Course Superintendent.
The Olympic Club offers free golf on Mondays at our Lakeside campus and a variety of sport and social events for employees throughout the year.
Groundskeeper assists the golf maintenance staff with the maintenance and improvement of the golf courses and facilities under the control of the golf maintenance department.

The Olympic Club offers free golf and tennis on Mondays at our Lakeside campus and a variety of sport and social events for employees throughout the year.
Groundskeeper assists the golf maintenance staff with the maintenance and improvement of the golf courses and facilities under the control of the golf maintenance department.
Summary:
The groundskeeper assists in maintaining the golf course and surrounding grounds.
This includes but not limited to mowing, trimming, maintenance of bunkers, course setup, and general maintenance.
Essential Job Functions: Maintenance of all landscaped areas of the golf course including all greens, tees, approaches, fairways, roughs, bunkers, etc.Mowing of grass utilizing walking, riding, and rotary mowersMaintain course appearance using power hand tools to perform duties such as: weeding, edging, blowing, raking of bunkersMaintenance of course appearance and playability such as changing cups, setting tees, filling divots, emptying of trash, etc.Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment following company guidelines and safety standardsFollow company safety standards at all times Requirements: Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, and walkAbility to lift, push/pull and twistMust have a valid California Driver's license, clean motor vehicle report Ability to learn how to operate motorized equipment and learn golf course maintenance practices Ability to report for early morning shifts beginning from 5:00 am to at 6:00am Previous landscaping and/or gardening experience preferred Benefits: Full-time Local 1877 Union non-exempt position Full medical and dental coverage Paid vacation and sick leave upon completion of probationary period
