Responsibilities
• Inspect and care for a wide variety of trees, shrubbery, and plants• Trim and prune plants according to schedule and seasonal requirements• Inspect plants, trees, and shrubbery for signs of illness or disease• Determine appropriate amount and timing for applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides• Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, weeding, and watering• Ensure grounds and hardscape areas are clean and free of trash and debris• Assist team members with special projects• Participate in department training and pursue specialized certifications• Communicate professionally with team members and visitors• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• 1 year of related experience• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions• Ability to operate riding or power mower and various tools• Ability to work as part of a team• Written and verbal communication skills• Problem-solving skills• Attention to detail
