Job Description
Summary
Responsible for proper maintenance of all outside grounds and public areas of Hotel and Casino in adherence to franchise and corporate standards.
Job Duties
Responsible for the maintenance of all outside grounds including mowing, weeding, planting, trash detail, parking lot repairs, snow removal, salting of walk ways, minor painting, snow blowing, digging, swimming pool operation, chemistry of swimming pools, use of fertilizers and chemicals to control weeds, and assist in any moving of furniture or other heavy objects.
Must know how to operate riding and push mowers, weed eaters, snow blowers, and all other grounds related equipment in a safe manner.
Must understand and be able to perform the required regular and preventative maintenance on all grounds equipment.
Insures that all outside walkways, and parking lots are safe for any guest at all times, and reports any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
Qualifications
Able to operate power equipment and hand tools in safe manner, experienced in operating riding mowers and snow blowers ,
Must be able to work in smoke filled environments
Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
