Full-timeRole OverviewAB Dynamics plc is an AIM listed plc with operations in the UK, US, Europe and Asia and a market cap of £500m. The business has grown rapidly over the last 4 years, with a compound annual growth rate of over 35%.
Partnering closely with several business units and the Group Finance team, this Group Contract Accountant is key to the commercial management and financial control, accounting for around 25% of the Group's revenue.
Though based at head office, this requires a degree of international travel and flexibility. Hybrid working is available and there is the opportunity to work from other UK sites.
What will you be doing?Conducting a review of terms and conditions of long term contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.Completing ongoing monthly monitoring of long term contracts across 3 subsidiaries in conjunction with local project managers.Inputting into bidding process for new contracts including reviewing expected margins and proposed payment terms.Manage external audit process over long term contracts.Budgeting and forecasting for long term contracts.This role will also offer the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience across other areas around the Group.What are we looking for?Good communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to analyse, understand and challenge.IFRS 15 expertise with a sound understanding of the standard and its practical application.The ability to assess the importance of the issues identified and suggest practical solutions, applying a commercial mindset.The ability to use your own initiative when necessary and investigate issues.We are part of The AB Dynamics Group, an innovative, dynamic company with a friendly and supportive working environment.
