Position Overview and Responsibilities At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. Ideal candidates will exemplify a good sense of humor, a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial drive. The Group Food & Beverage Sales Manager will drive interest in our community through corporate group bookings for room blocks as well as various restaurant, pool, and event spaces. This position will support ongoing events at the community to enhance amenities and support our experience and lifestyle teams. They will collaborate with our marketing team to develop a communication strategy that leads to increased interest in our community and strong reputation scores from guests/residents.
Proactively lead and generate new Group business opportunities for all segments Work closely with partner teams such Revenue Management and Community Leaders to ensure that group accounts' needs are met and that bookings are financially beneficial to SentralDrive the sales and execution of catering events, private dining experiences, and group bookings across various restaurant, pool, and event spaces.Act as the key liaison between clients and restaurant management teams, ensuring that all event needs are met efficiently and effectively.Build and maintain strong client relationships in conjunction with the corporate group sales team proactively seek new sales opportunities.Attend major market events & trade shows locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for SentralExperienced in RFP software programs in both Multifamily and Corporate Transient sales platforms like Entrata, Lanyon, HRS and Tripleseat Oversee integration and onboarding of sales accounts, completing company profiles and third-party booking agencies Assist answering bid requests on third-party platforms for communitiesAct as the liaison between the community team and the home sales teams Assist in execution of community leasesSupport the regional sales team administratively including correspondence, preparing reports, and assisting with special projectsCross-sell opportunities with privates (bday parties special events etc) and corporations in booking events at the multiple F&B outlets located on property.Perform weekly audits of ILS websites and third-party sales platforms Ensure Budget accuracy: Maintain budgets, monthly accruals and ensuring team spending is in line with what is budgeted Conceptualize, draft, and send well-constructed and professional correspondence Complete additional projects as assigned Skills and Experience Minimum of 3 year in a growing service-based organizationComputer skills including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and brand property Management System(s).Exercise excellent communication and listening skillsPassion, positivity, and an ability to flex with a growing organizationBS or BA or equivalent required.A drive towards high-performance sales and a passion to be first in classExcellent interpersonal skills represent an advantageMust possess strong attention to detail and sales abilityAbility to effectively communicate in an upbeat way in order to solicit business Strong oral and written communication skillsGreat time management skillsDemonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to concerns to avoid escalation of the problem Sentral Benefits Healthcare Coverage: We are committed to providing comprehensive healthcare plans (medical, dental, vision, and other benefit options) to our team members and their families.
