This position is full-time, Monday thru Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM, starting June 7, 2024 and ending August 2, 2024.
Role Responsibilities Receive and unpack incoming hardware and equipment Execute process of asset tagging and etching computer devices with attention to quality and detail Follow standardized process to stage devices for imaging Repackage hardware for shipment and delivery Shadow PDT field engineers to gain exposure to professional IT and service delivery model Qualifications Enrolled and active student at Detroit Public Schools Must have reliable daily transportation to PDT's Novi Warehouse where primary responsibilities occur Self-motivated and ability to work independently Ability to interact and partner with team members to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines Demonstrated attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic Confident communicator to collaborate with teammates Applications must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a DPS teacher. Preferred, but not required: Ideal candidate is a DPS graduating Senior. Juniors moving into Senior year will also be considered.
