Summary/Objective We are seeking an experienced Hardware Product Owner to lead the development of our cutting-edge license plate recognition (LPR) camera systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both hardware and software systems that work together in camera technology, with hands-on experience with LPR systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing innovative LPR camera systems that seamlessly integrate hardware and software components, driving product excellence and meeting market demands. Essential Functions Manage the full product lifecycle of LPR camera hardware, from conception to launch and beyond Lead product discovery efforts, including prototyping and field testing of LPR camera systems Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware issues and propose effective solutions Collaborate with software teams to ensure seamless integration between camera hardware and LPR software Analyze performance data and user feedback to continuously improve product quality and features Develop and maintain product documentation, including technical specifications and integration guides Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of experience in hardware product management, preferably in the LPR or surveillance camera industry Deep understanding of both hardware and software systems in camera technology Hands-on experience with camera systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Strong knowledge of optical systems, image processing, and machine vision technologies Experience with software-hardware integration in camera systems Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and resolving complex hardware-software integration issues Strong communication skills, able to bridge gaps between hardware and software teams Key Technologies LPR camera hardware and software integration Product lifecycle management Technical troubleshooting Data analysis and performance optimization Hardware-software interface design Benefits Competitive compensation package Full suite of medical benefits, including dental, vision, pet insurance, 401k. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Physical Requirements This position is both indoors and outdoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 50 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light in an office environment, outside with changing weather across the United States, or warehouse.
