Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.
RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate design documents for technical functionality requirements and electromagnetic sensing product design validation plan based on input from business and product design engineers.Testing system setup along with product design team, tester development team or external vendor.Work closely with product design team for product functional testing and algorithm validation, with hardware and mechanical engineering to generate product reliability testing plans, and conduct or follow reliability testing in or out of Bangalore.Analyze prototype test data and generate visible reports for decision making on product/process design compliance with requirements.Responsible for product outside testing and certificate application.Work across organization boundaries to achieve objectives.Perform benchmarking of competitor products and conduct technology and IP searches related to all aspects of electrical design of Position sensors.In accordance with TE standards for daily work.What your background should look like:Experience in generating design documents for technical functionality requirements and electromagnetic sensing product design validation plans based on input from business and product design engineers.Experience in testing system setup along with product design teams, tester development teams or external vendors.Experience working closely with product design teams for product functional testing and algorithm validation, with hardware and mechanical engineering to generate product reliability testing plans, and conduct or follow reliability testing.Experience analyzing prototype test data and generating visible reports for decision making on product/process design compliance.Experience in product outside testing and certificate application.Ability to work across organization boundaries to achieve objectives.Experience performing benchmarking of competitor products and conducting technology and IP searches related to electrical design of Position sensors.CompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
