We are looking for a Harness Design Engineer to join our team for summer 2025. The goal of Harness Design Engineer at Wisk is to develop the electrical harnesses and optimize the KPIs of: functional performance, reliability, cost and weight; while adhering to the aircraft's system-safety architecture and all relevant FAA regulations. 
\n Responsibilities:As part of the Aircraft IPT organization, and deployed in Electrical Wiring and Interconnection System (EWIS) Department you will act as a Harness Design Engineer for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM marketYou will take part in developing detailed electrical harnesses, taking in account design rules, utilizing the Siemens NX and Siemens Capital tool set for the engineering team.In some areas, you will be working closely with Aircraft systems and structures team Requirements:Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, master's or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027Knowledge electrical harness development on a new aircraft platform, Hands-on use of the Siemens Capital and NX CAD tools for designing and documenting EWIS.
\nHourly rate will be $25 USD an hour. This internship role will be based at Wisk's office in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided. Eligibility Requirements For US Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA You must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of Internship.
