Head Accountant Our client, a nonprofit organization that has been around for over 75 years, is looking for a Head Accountant to bring on to their team. The work schedule is less than 38 hours a week. This person will handle all the accounting functions for the company. This role will have a hybrid work schedule after training. This role is located close to Metro Center in Nashville. Permanent direct hire.
Salary up to $65,000 + discretionary bonus

What you'll be doing as the Head Accountant: The Accountant oversees accounting from A-Z including general ledger, month end close, reconciliations, cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, payroll, and financial This role handles all the accounting for the company Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting. Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization Comply with national, local, and nonprofit financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action Report to CEO and Board of Directors with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on organizational and program budgets.
